How Tipping Works
Muster Us lets fans tip creators directly. Here is exactly how it works — and what we take from it.
Tips go straight to the creator
When you tap a Tip button on someone's profile or post, you go to their own Cash App, Venmo, or PayPal. The money goes directly from you to them.
Muster Us takes $0 — not a penny of tip money. The money never touches us.
How it works, step by step
- A creator adds their Cash App, Venmo, or PayPal link on their profile, under Edit Profile → Tip Jar.
- You tap one of the tip buttons on their profile — or the Tip link on one of their posts.
- It opens in a new tab on the payment app's own website.
- You send the tip there. From that point on, it is between you and them.
We never see your payment details
Tips happen on Cash App's, Venmo's, or PayPal's own sites, under their terms. Muster Us doesn't process payments, doesn't see card numbers, and doesn't hold balances. There is nothing for us to take a cut from — and we wouldn't if there were.
Why $0?
Muster Us exists to give people a fair town square where everyone is seen and heard. Creator money should go to the creator. The $0 tip promise is part of the mission, not a marketing line.
